Host Plant:  The Upright Prairie Coneflower is a host plant for many moth species including caterpillars of the sunflower moth, blackberry looper moth, common pug, wavy-lined emerald, and torticid moth.  

Pollinators: bees, butterflies, skippers, wasps, flies, and birds enjoy eating the seeds in the winter.
